This course is ideal for those who want to increase awareness, understanding and develop their emotional intelligence. Students will explore the five competencies of emotional intelligence - self-awareness, self-management, motivation, empathy, and relationship management - using art as a creative tool for experiential learning. Oil and Acrylic Painting
While you learn the fundamentals of painting with both acrylic and oil paint, you will be creatively challenged to develop your skills. If you are a beginning student, you will work initially with oil (a more forgiving medium) before trying your hand with acrylic paint. Our instructor uses an individualized approach to teaching which stresses demonstration and practice of the techniques needed to achieve your desired result. Join with others to make music in a fun, welcoming environment. We focus on the basics from producing single notes to understanding song form. Reading music is not required. You will learn basic harmonica chords, licks, and solo techniques while jamming together and receiving encouraging feedback and having fun socializing. You may repeat repertoire classes as needed. There are dozens of songs to learn at every skill level. Songs change from session to session. Students should bring a diatonic harmonica in the key of C. iPhone Photography: Online
There are hundreds of photography apps available for iPhones, and many have similar features. Explore some of the better-known apps along with instruction on use for nature photography. We will go over the basics of iPhone photography along with fieldwork. Examine the photos taken during class and learn how to enhance, manipulate, or alter them. iPhones are mandatory.
This class will be taught online using Zoom and Dropbox. Registered students will receive login instructions one day in advance.

Professional Make-up Artistry
Students will learn to properly color match, contour, highlight, and create a Natural Eye look for bridal, print, and film shoots, as well as for everyday use. Students also will learn a Glamour look for special occasions, fashion, and print. Included: eyeliner techniques, professional kit necessities, how to make your look last all day, bring in business, and receive professional discounts on name-brand make-up. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a Certificate from the instructor (professional discounts are available with certificate).
