Chair Yoga

Imagine doing yoga wherever you sit regardless of your age, level of activity, or physical size. Chair yoga is specifically designed for those that require an adaptive yoga program. You will learn important modifications to your posture that will increase flexibility and increase health benefits. The chair is used as a prop as you work to improve your balance and strength while calming the nervous system at the same time. No yoga experience necessary. This online class uses Webex as the virtual platform to deliver the program objectives

Learning about them helps us accept the differences in others and ourselves. They help us have more tolerance, patience, and reasonable expectations of expression. Most of all they give us better guidelines for creative, purposeful pursuits, relationships and spiritual fulfillment. We will describe these seven temperaments in practical, usable ways.

Bone Boosters

Boost your bones by adding strength training to your exercise routine! Strength training will build your bones and benefit your joints by strengthening the surrounding muscles, which will keep your joints in alignment to decrease wear and tear. Use free weights, resistance bands and floor work for a total body workout that everyone can do. Class will include balance and agility training. Dress in comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. You will need three pound hand weights, a 10 pound resistance band and a cushioned mat. Participants new to training may use soup or bean cans and a five pound band.
