Indian Cooking: Indian Vegetarian Comfort Food

From Sunday Brunch to weekday dinners - this fun and flavorful meal is a delicious option for any meal of the day. Our all-veggie class menu includes Aloo Methi (fenugreek), potatoes cooked in spinach and flavored with fresh fenugreek (methi) selected mild spices, ginger and garlic-cooked in a base of sauteed onions! And discover the secret herbs that takes this aroma packed delight to yet another level! Accompanying the meal will be a veggie raita, a simple homemade paratha, and plain rice flavored with cumin! Pack the leftovers for your lunch at the office, or warm them straight out of your refrigerator for a "work from home" day!

Raising The Bar: Making Simple and Delicious Cocktails at Home

Discover the origin story of a few classic cocktails, while you make them in the comfort of your own home. Mix along or see how to prepare drinks that are reliably delicious and provide the fundamentals needed to create all other cocktails. The Old Fashioned, The Daiquiri, The Martini & The Manhattan will all be covered. An ingredient and supply list will be emailed one week prior to the start of class. Have you wondered what the air fryer hype is about? Do you have one and want ideas about what to make in it besides fries or crisping up frozen processed foods? Have some fun participating in this virtual air fryer demonstration and partial cook-along class as we dive into the world of air frying! Instant Pot Freezer Meal Bootcamp

Learn the foundations of preparing homemade, nourishing, make-ahead meals that can go straight from your freezer to your Instant Pot®. The instructor will demonstrate how to prepare four or five make-ahead meals for the freezer including sweet and zesty meatballs and Greek lemon garlic and herbed chicken. You will be given the option to prepare some cheesy stuffed shells for your freezer. Air Fryer Veggies—From Asparagus to Zucchini (Online)

Using an Air Fryer to cook vegetables is quick—and the healthy results are delicious! In this class Kirsten will demonstrate a variety of recipes using in-season local and/or commonly available vegetables including Lemon Pepper Broccoli, Miso Sesame Kale Chips, and Roasted Sweet Potatoes. The Ethics of Food

Deciding what to eat can become an ethical dilemma. Do you know where your food comes from? How local is your locally produced foods? There is so much more to eating than just deciding what foods we like. How and why we eat is personal, cultural, religious and political. Class, economics, geography and race determines how we procure, grow, eat and ultimately waste food. This course will give you a deep dive in to the food systems, explore and discuss the impact of food insecurity before and after the pandemic, and discuss how only a few corporations control 70% of the world’s food supply.

Registered dietitians will earn 6 contact hours. RNs and LPNs may self-submit to KSBN.
